Peaky Digital Partners with Penryn & Falmouth Foodbank for 2025 Charity of the Year
Falmouth-based digital marketing agency, Peaky Digital, is proud to announce Penryn &
Falmouth Foodbank as its Charity of the Year for 2025.
With food bank usage at an all-time high, Peaky Digital’s team is committed to using their
digital expertise to help Penryn & Falmouth Foodbank continue their vital work. The number of
parcels distributed by food banks in the South West has risen by 62% since 2019, and recent
figures show that one in five South West parents have struggled to feed their children in the
last year.
As part of their support, Peaky Digital will provide free services to enhance the foodbank’s
digital presence and help raise awareness across social media platforms. The agency will
also assist in developing the foodbank’s broader digital strategy to ensure that they can
continue to reach those who need help the most.
Jo Crook, of Penryn & Falmouth Foodbank management chair, said “We are so grateful for
partnerships like this with Peaky Digital. We’re entirely volunteer-run - offering vital food
support to an ever-increasing number of local people and families who experience a lack of
food and daily essentials. Being able to partner with businesses, who are skilled in areas we
are lacking - is of huge significance to us and our work. If one less child, or individual, is able
to go to bed tonight without feeling hungry, we have achieved a difference that is
incalculable. “
Natalie Temple, Managing Director of Peaky Digital, said: “This partnership resonates deeply
with our team. The work Penryn & Falmouth Foodbank do is absolutely critical, especially in
these challenging times and we were moved by the incredible difference they make to
people’s lives in our local community. We’re excited to use our expertise to do all we can to
help amplify their message.”
In addition to providing digital marketing support, Peaky Digital’s team will participate in
various volunteering activities throughout the year. These activities will include helping to
pack and distribute food parcels and organising fundraising events to raise vital funds for the
foodbank’s operations.
The foodbank provides a lifeline to individuals and families facing food insecurity, offering
emergency food to those in crisis and a range of support services to help people get back on their feet. They work with local agencies, schools, and community groups to ensure that no one in need goes without.
This partnership reflects Peaky Digital’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on
the local community and supporting those in need. Previous charity partners have included
Penhaligon’s Friends and St Petrocs, with the team engaging in a variety of fundraising and
volunteer activities.
