MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Stratton Creber Commercial has an immediate opportunity in the Plymouth office for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, committed and professional individual to join our friendly and established valuation team.
 
Although based in the Plymouth office, the role will be varied covering mainly Devon but also Cornwall and occasionally Somerset and Dorset. We are seeking candidates who will be responsible for the preparation of commercial, residential and development valuations for loan security, companies/partnership, pensions funds, private clients and statutory purposes in accordance with the RICS Valuation – Global Standards (current edition) and RICS Valuer’s Registration Scheme.
 
We have a position available for a full time FRICS / MRICS Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, ideally with at least 3 years post qualification experience in commercial property / general practice with a track record of the provision of Red Book compliant valuations. A valid UK driving licence and access to a personal car for business use is essential. A part time position may be considered.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

1. An experienced Valuation Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years post MRICS qualification and Registered Valuer experience,
2. Provide valuations of all property types for a variety of purposes,
3. High level of client care to win new and repeat business,
4. Ability to work within a team to promote valuation and other surveying services,
5. Strong communication and technical skills,
6. Have ambition to expand the business, strengthen existing client base and develop new relationships.

 
SALARY
Salary and terms will be offered commensurate with experience and skills.
