The 2024 Drakes Island Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health Charity swim

We start on the beach at Firestone Bay with our charity swimmers setting out for the Island, round a couple of marker buoys and making their way back to the beach a distance of around 1.5km. We ask that all participants are able to swim the distance in a pool, have experience of swimming in Open Water and in varying sea conditions.

Description
We start on the beach at Firestone Bay with our charity swimmers setting out for the Island, round a couple of marker buoys and making their way back to the beach a distance of around 1.5km.
We ask that all participants are able to swim the distance in a pool, have experience of swimming in Open Water and in varying sea conditions.
Registration for the swim will take place in the Royal William Yard.
Your entry fee ONLY covers the cost of organising the event, it’s the money you raise that helps support Prostate, Testicular and Penile Cancer patients and their families right across Devon and Cornwall. So we ask all our swimmers set themselves a fundraising target of £50.
