Net Zero for Small Businesses and Start-Ups
As a small business, how can you measure and reduce your carbon footprint and environmental impact effectively? What does it mean to be "Net Zero" and how do we achieve it? When starting or scaling up, how can we set off on the right foot by making the right decisions now to avoid emissions and be "Born Sustainable"?
If you are running a small business or about to start, this workshop will delve into how you can achieve a greener and leaner business by measuring and managing your carbon emissions effectively.
In this workshop, we will be covering:
What is Net Zero? Basic carbon literacy including what causes climate change and how we can take action
How to develop a business plan with sustainability at its core
A practical session on how to measure your carbon footprint
How to write and manage an effective carbon reduction plan
How to communicate progress and avoid greenwashing
Refreshments and Lunch will be provided and will be plant-based.
We would like to encourage all attendees to use public transport or car share where possible. Train connections run from St Erth hourly where park and ride is also available.
