Keeping the Lights On: Planning Our Energy System for a Net-Zero World
18 July, 16:00 – 17:30 | Online
While net-zero targets are national, energy infrastructure and usage vary enormously from one county to another, not to mention the potential for low-carbon energy solutions.
The University of Plymouth’s Net-Zero Exchange project has teamed up with key stakeholders to further explore these challenges and opportunities.
National Grid Electricity Distribution, Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks Distribution and Regen will outline the context of current energy usage and potential future energy scenarios, followed by representatives from local authorities in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset providing an overview of their activity to deliver net-zero energy plans.
